How You Can Set Your Own Alert Date for Existing Cards
DIY Existing Credit Card Alert
This section is designed for people who wish to be alerted when their existing credit card reaches the end of its opening offer period, or who do not wish to take out a new credit card via this site.
Note: you do not have to apply for a new credit card from this site in order to use our alert service. But if you do want a new card to try this service out here is our recommended choice:
The existing credit card alert system works the same way as the alert system for cards newly applied for from the site, except that you must be aware when your existing card's opening offer (whether that offer is zero interest or low interest) expires. Calculate the number of weeks left until that expiry and go to the appropriate link below. Then, about ten days before your card's offer expiry date you will receive an email reminding you to transfer your balance, with a link in the email to provide you with the means to make that balance transfer.
This section has a convenient drop down menu to take you to the week when your card's opening interest free (or low interest) offer is due to end. This drop down menu will only work if your browser has java script enabled (which it probably will). If on the off chance your browser is not java script enabled you will need to go to the section manually as described just below the following drop down menu.

Firstly, scroll down the list until you see the section with the number of weeks until your existing credit card's opening offer ends.
Then fill in your email address and name. About ten days before your credit card's opening offer period comes to an end you will receive an email alerting you that it is time to transfer your balance to another card. The email will provide you with a link in order for you to do so.
If you think that you may have made a mistake just click on the Back button of your browser to return to where you were, then make any corrections. As this is a free service we regret we cannot provide technical help at this time.
